About Baylor Vision

For more than 100 years, Baylor College of Medicine has provided quality patient care, and Baylor Vision continues that tradition by providing superior and personalized patient care with excellent outcomes. Patients meet and are meticulously evaluated by their doctor before the day of surgery to ensure he or she receives personal attention. The physicians at Baylor Vision are leaders in clinical practice, education, and research in laser vision surgeries such as LASIK and other refractive procedures as well as cataract surgery. Our goal is to provide the safest and most effective vision correction treatments tailored to individual needs.

The refractive and cataract expert surgeons at Baylor Vision have played an important role in several major clinical and scientific advances, including scanning excimer laser technology, devices used to measure and treat the eyes with laser vision correction, intraocular lens implants (IOLs) used in refractive and cataract surgery (such as multifocal IOLs and IOLs to correct astigmatism), methods to treat astigmatism, new surgical instruments, and clinical evaluation and development of devices that are required for measuring the shape of the cornea.

Baylor Vision physicians teach extensively in the United States and throughout the world and remain at the forefront of research and education in refractive surgery.
